One of my biggest goals as an artist and a creator is to always find deeper meaning in my work. I love the kind of imagery that you can stare at for hours and think about throughout the day. These pieces above are all daily horoscopes taken from the app Co-star that really resonated with me. I try and avoid portraying the most obvious connections the best I can and treat each phrase like a riddle, creating images that force the audience to think about the multitude of meanings a single word can take on for each individual person.

In Spring 2020, I was commissioned by a friend to create a short intro for their youtube channel, Bumblebee makeup. I made a the logo in illustrator then recreated it in maya. The bee character was modeled with the 3d logo and given a simple rig to animate it. The goal was to make a simple and cute design for repeated use, giving a nod to the queer creators who brought the animation and youtube page to life.

Every christmas, I create video to celebrate what my whole extended family did throughout the year. It's a great way to catch up and stay familiar with each other, especially at our 60+ people christmas party named "Mikey and Joel save Christmas." in 2022, the theme was based off the bad 80' movie "License to drive." This was the animated Intro created for the video, based off the original movies opening logo.
